Yep,

The pirates strike again. My old site's design has been ripped off, and the guy is a... freelance designer??? what!?
I think he should swap that title with SCAM ARTIST.

I would love to see someone design a site that is inspired by my work.. that would be awesome. By why do people have to straight copy it... they actually take the time to download every single one of my images (I have hotlink prevention), and every line of code.

Someone needs to create a community site that exposes these types of crooks (like a css gallery), and the ENTIRE design community can know when this happens. Then these guys will "never work in this town again". lol

*** UPDATE: The thief has taken the site down, that was quick! But it gets BETTER!! He put up a coming soon page, and on it there is a light blue gradient background... THAT IS MY BACKGROUND IMAGE for the Valio, inc. site!!!!!

Open up my Valio site in one tab and his coming soon page in another. Switch back and forth and you will see it is the SAME repeating image. This is hilarious!! This "freelance designer" lacks sooo much creativity he can't even make his own gradient from scratch... he has to go and download mine... unbelievable!!

This is a first, normally people tear down my stolen design, but this guys tears it down only to steal more of my images!!

To the Pirate Jeremy: Come on bro, you are better than this. Just open photoshop and have fun.

Who knows what else you have up and running that's a direct steal.

I do hope you realize that he's now stolen your past layout and just moved the image up so it looks like you haven't. Pretty lame guy if you ask me. He gets found out he's ripped a design, Apologizes for it then rips two designs. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

Its not so much that he stole my gradient, but that he stole my gradient after he ripped my entire site. He took it down after I asked him to, but then rather than stop stealing things altogether, he steals again. lol
The whole thing is just hilarious :)

Anyways the next iPhone looks cool, I may get it but who knows. I more as well just want to spend my time customizing it but apple in default makes everything so pretty. I want a mac :-P

Logo is a rip off of yours though (not that you can fully see it due to the lack of contrast between colours).

Ya, it is pretty lame of the guy.

I'm with you on the iPhone. I passed the 1st model up, because I knew Apple would come out with a V2 in at least a year (and they did) with faster connection speed... because I have used my friends iPhone on EDGE before... and to me its just not worth buying an iPhone with that crappy of load times. But now we get to have the 3G.. YAY!

Expect a Firebolt beta announcement VERY soon :)

I agree we should start a website to show off these crooks.

I guess that it is a compliment in some weird way... ok, so maybe not.

Can't wait for Firebolt... almost as excited about it as the 3G iPhone... ok, so I am a little MORE excited about the 3G iPhone, but I can't wait to start working with Firebolt.
