I just finished a new holder site for Firebolt. It gives you a sneak peek, as well as some feature descriptions.

Check it out: GetFirebolt.com

Kip,

LOL sorry man. It has been hard to make time for Firebolt, with client work and all. But it is just about here! I know you will be stoked on it :)

Doug,
No special reason. But I can't wait to get my hands on an iPhone. I've been waiting for the 3Gs forever it seems :)

When I release Firebolt there will be tons of documentation, and other support for everyone. So you should be good :)

Thanks so much!

Peace,
Drew

Hey Drew... can't wait to get my hands on it! Is there any special reason you are releasing it just after the new iPhones come out? LOL... Do you have documentation (or will you have when you launch) for how to build the extensions? Keep up the awesome work...

Drew Wilson Says,
Russell,
Firebolt is actually the backbone for my photo site right now. So it would definitely be a great fit for you! :)
As for the Akismet plug-in... there are no plans for that. Firebolt has its own built-in spam filter, which I am sure you will really like :)

Paul,
Firebolt is a downloadable solution (meaning: you install on your own server). But there are plans for a hosted solution in the near future.

Peace guys,
Drew

Lookin' good... Still thinking about a beta testing phase? Will Firebolt be an online service or will we be able to do local installs? Best, Paul West Jauregui Creative Director - Myover, Inc.

Russell Heimlich Says,
I'm looking to start a photography portfolio website and was thinking of trying to cobble it together with Wordpress. I think I'll just wait until Firebolt comes out and see what I can do with that. Any idea if there will be an Akismet plugin right off the bat?
