If you haven't already seen or heard... Planet Earth Rocks!!

My lovely wife got me this DVD set for Christmas, and we have been amazed at the stuff they can cram into that little DVD box. I love learning about all the different parts of our Planet, and this series is amazing. The cinematography is awesome!

If you don't own it.. you are missing out. I love watching them. Especially on my 150in. TV set up.
A while ago I mounted the eVo projector on my ceiling, and bought the 150in. Elite Screen. Plus a great sound system to boot. Now I have a theater in my house for under $800!
So its pretty sweet.

Peace,
Drew

Excellent, that'll help me get those final coins as Luigi in Galaxy:) I'd say Planet Earth earns more in the breathtaking category, but Blue Planet is still a pleasure to see. There's a wonderful scene in one of the final episodes where they showcase a sea of salts beneath the Gulf - it looks like a lake submerged in water as you fly through the plant life; coupled with never before shots of life near the hot vents at the bottom of the sea bed, 3000 hours in the ocean, very much worth the time.

Brady,
Ya it works great! The model I have is only 1,000 Lumens... so it is not so great if there is daylight, but I have curtains that do the trick for the daytime :)
The newer model might have more lumens... not sure. But I really recommend the setup. It's awesome, and anyone who has played the Wii at my house know there is nothing like it :D

Blue Planet is next on my list. Is it just as good as Planet Earth?

Peace,
Drew

Whoa, under $800? That's fantastic! Does it really compare to a flat screen, and do you have any issues with during the day viewing? I've got a smaller wall mounted TV, and have looked for an upgrade - if something this huge is good enough quality for movies and regular TV, I'd love to hear it. ...and I agree about the planet earth series, beautiful series. I just finally saw some of the blue planet the other day, which I also enjoyed.
