DrewWilson.com is currently ranked the 5th highest rated CSS design over at faveup.com. Which is awesome because I have only been up on that site for almost 1 full day! They also featured my photo site.

Muse have been featured on KillerStartups. Its Digg style website about new startups. I dunno how they found out about Muse so quick (first day it was launched), but they did and its here: Muse on KillerStartups

I just added another project to my photo site: World War
It was a shoot for a band, and I also am able to use the photos for stock. So it works out awesome.
This was such a fun shoot. We were up at 5am, and shooting till 10am. We scouted a spot that had business development construction going on about 15min from my house. They even had sand bags there, which added a ton to the feel of these images.
I have photoshoped only a couple of them, but will do more when I have time. Enjoy!

Its official, my latest project Muse has launched!! And I am so stoked!
muse | a collection of inspiration
Not your average design gallery.
Muse reveals the person behind the art, and their inspiration for creation.
My reason for developing Muse was to create a gallery where the focus is on the Artist, rather than simply the Art.
I have often wondered what inspires great artisits/creators, and that is where Muse came from. Muse will not only showcase great art, but it will also attempt to showcase the inspiration behind the art. And ultimaely the inspiration of great artists/creators.
Check it out, and spread the word!

So I spent some time re-designing the old OC Festival poster. This event is gonna be so cool, with demos by pro skaters, BMX, and FMX demos as well. Plus it will be the world premiere of the new movie I have been working on Walking On Water. To clear up any confusion, I am the Art Director over at the company Walking On Water, and our new movie coming out is also called Walking On Water.
So here is the new design, obviously bare bones, and all the event info has yet to be added.
What do you think?

Been a while since I have posted, mainly cause I have been slammed with work. But caught this guy ripping my off thanks to Google Analytics.

I love the idea that my art inspires people, but please don't rip off my design completely. The web design process should start with a comp in photoshop. Not a rip of my code and images. Seriously.
He even put the copyright in his name!!!! Pisses me off.
Looks like this guy is represented by Aquent. I used to live in the northwest, so I know who they are, but I wonder if they know how this Ruess guy is coming up with his designs. Ethics anyone?
Anyone got any idea on how I can stop this? He is pulling images and code straight from my server.

*** UPDATE: Ruess has removed everything from his server, and seems like a cool guy. He says he was never intending to go public with my design. So everything worked out after I shot a quick email to him. Thanks again Ramir for the tip.

I just signed as a Rights Managed stock photographer with Inmagine. I am super stoked with the deal. They get an awesome amount of traffic for a stock agency, so I am stoked about that.
It should be a fun adventure, and I am gonna try even harder to make sure and organize all the shoots I have in mind for more stock photos. Once I upload my initial 100 images to them in the next week or so, I will give you all a link to where you can find my images on their site.
Anyone else hooked up with a stock agency out there? Care to share?

So I went and saw the Transformers movie last night... best movie ever made.
This film was far beyond my expectations. It was the absolute best movie I have seen in a long looooong time. Everything about it was sooo good; plot, characters, cinematography, sound, FX, etc. The entertainment value for me was beyond Star Wars AND Lord of the rings. It is that good.
If you see only one movie... see Transformers.
